If you're a big fan of the Jeep brand, Stewart Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is betting you already know a good bit about the upcoming 2014 Jeep Cherokee. After all, it's quite a style departure from the traditional Jeep style, and it's created quite a buzz.

But, what is it like to actually drive the vehicle? Well, if you'd like to know for yourself, you'll have to wait until the vehicle arrives here at Stewart Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, located in Colma, California. In the meantime, however, we'll refer to the lucky folks over at FourWheeler, who recently took the Trailhawk trim of the vehicle for a spin.

In his overall review of the vehicle, Ali Mansour, Technical Editor at FourWheeler, states, "The Cherokee is flat-out enjoyable to drive on-road, and surprisingly capable off-road. Jeep is aware of the Cherokee namesake pedestal and has done a great job with the Trail Hawk edition to offer a wheeler-centric version of an otherwise citified platform."1In other words, though the new Jeep Cherokee may look like it belongs downtown, it's quite capable going off the traditional trail.

The 2014 Cherokee will be outfitted with two new engine choices: a 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four engine that produces 184-hp and a 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that creates 271-hp.

Excited about the new Cherokee's arrival? Be sure to stay tuned here with Stewart Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM blog for all of the latest updates, including news about its arrival to the Colma area.
