Jeep Wrangler Will Stick ARound Until at Least 2018, Get Killer Colors

Are you a Jeep Wrangler fan, reader? If so, you'll be happy to know that Chrysler has announced the model will be built until at least mid-2018, though it will receive a refresh during this time to keep it looking new in the meantime. The Dodge Avenger and Dodge Grand Caravan have also been reported by Chrysler to stick around for a few more years.

So, how will the company keep the Wrangler fresh in the meantime? Well, recently, we learned that the upcoming 2014 Jeep Wrangler, which will hit our Colma, CA showroom soon, will be available in several new colors.

For example, the "Anvil" color we saw on the 2013 10th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon will be available on all Wrangler models for the 2014 model year. Other new Wrangler colors will include a yellow-colored "Amp'd," a grey-colored "Granite Crystal," a bright "Hydro Blue," a gray "Granite Crystal," and a sandy-red "Copperhead Pearl." "Flame Red" also makes a return this year.

If you're wondering what the Hydro Blue color will look like in real life and you remember the New Brunswick Hydro trucks from long ago, they're the same. The head of Jeep USA remembered the color from his childhood and wanted it back!

The new colors will, unfortunately, be available a bit after the vehicle's official launch, but they may be worth the wait if you want your ride to be exceptionally unique! For more information about the new model, including an update about when it arrives in the Colma, CA area, be sure to stay tuned here with our Stewart Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM blog.
